Its a wonderful thing waking up in the morning. Our brains are dormant. We have mystifying yawns. After that cup of coffee, we start with life, make a living, watch the news, shop at the hypermarket. We try our best to lay food on the table and keep the Volvo tank full. Some of us over the years have become complicated, sophisticated, modern, and vibrant. But we forget. We forget that some best things in life are simple. We forget the joyful, honost and cheerful child we once were. We forget that the most humanly moment in our day is probably those first 10 minutes, early in the morning, when we are dormant.
I’m talking about a malay traditional restaurant somewhere in Nilai. The restaurant has enough botanicals and plants to make you think you’re somewhere lost in the deep dark jungle - only very clean…and smells of good food.
