Anthony Bordain and Red Hot Chili Mussels

I’m talking about a malay traditional restaurant somewhere in Nilai. The restaurant has enough botanicals and plants to make you think you’re somewhere lost in the deep dark jungle - only very clean…and smells of good food.

I have no idea how Anthony Bordain, the famous celebrity chef ended up at this restaurant. Nilai is really, not a place of attraction. It’s in the middle of no where, and has no touristic significance at all (except for this restaurant, maybe).

The food…Oh my god…the food! It’s malay food the way it was cooked and tasted 100 years ago I would imagine. I’ve been here 6 times in one month! It really is that good. Go for it!

This time we had guests, from Germany. We ‘forced’ them to use the Malaysian technology for cutlery..our fingers! Chrissi seems to be struggling.

Her boyfriend Martin…was calm, cool, collected, and seemed to have everything under control.
Martin is cool

Everything, except for the hot mussels. No one could step up to the plate, and face the ultimate spicy, hot Malaysian red hot mussels.
